All our toys are made from body-safe platinum cured silicone, coloured with pigments designed for silicone and/or body safe cosmetic graded mica.

They are completely safe and non-porous and can be sterilized with boiling water! We pride ourselves on creating safe and durable quality toys that will last a lifetime if you take care of them.

The shore scale is how the industry identifies different firmness’s of silicone. The shore scale has three brackets starting with the softest (00 Scale) ending in the firmest (A scale). Each bracket is then allocated numbers, the lower the number the softer the silicone in that bracket. 00-20 is the softest silicone we currently carry and 10A is the firmest. It’s worth noting that the silicone shore scale doesn't change between shops, but what some shops consider a soft, medium or hard silicone for their toys may differ from other shops. Although the descriptions may change the numbers stay the same.

We currently offer four types of silicone firmness: 

• Ultra Soft: 00-20
• Extra Soft: 00-30
• Soft: 00-50
• Medium: 10A

There ARE a lot of colours - we want to give our customers as much choice as possible. As for examples of the micas we use, we currently have 97 images to give you a taste of what’s available! The most accurate image of the colour would be the line across the middle of the image.

If you’d rather have a non-metallic colour, we also have a list of 8 UV reactive pigments as well.

Please Note:

We can also make Translucent colours out of all our UV reactive colours by using less pigment in the silicone as well as Pastel Colours out of either the UV or Mica colours by adding a little White to the mix. 

Absolutely!  If you still don’t find the colour you are after you can contact us via email or our social accounts and tell us what you are looking for, and we will see if we can accommodate your request. We are happy to work with you to get that perfect toy. Check out our gallery for inspiration or come up with a colour on your own! You can find further information on how to request a custom colour through our ‘Customize Me’ listings or contact us directly.

Glitter dildos will not be available. Large sharp pieces of glitter can cut and work their way out of a silicone toy with repeated use. We have tried a micro glitter that we have since removed from our store as after use we would continue to find glitter where glitter doesn't belong until months after. It is next to impossible to clean up and is that light it floats in the air.

Immediately after placing your order you will receive an order confirmation email.

Once we receive your order, we’ll queue your selection in the order it was received. After it is processed and ready for shipment, we will package it in a discreet shipping container/box and ship it out at our earliest opportunity.

Upon shipping you will receive an email with the tracking information for your order. You’ll be able to track it through the Australia Post website. 

If you're an international customer, once the package has arrived in your country you can track your parcel through your own countries postal provider using the same Australia Post tracking number for more accurate delivery times.

As we’re shipping out of Australia, we use Australia Post. What shipping partner they use once the package is out of the country will differ from country to country.

We tend to have a one-week creation and grace period between a custom toy being ordered and it being shipped. After that, it depends on where you are! In our experience, it takes about 2-4 days to get to domestic locations in Australia, but anywhere from 1-2months for international deliveries.

Please also take into consideration the effect Covid has had and may still be having on the postal system.

We also keep track of all orders and raise concerns with our carrier if we feel shipping is taking too long.

Our packages are wrapped in normal, non-dildo-looking cardboard boxes or padded mailers. Nobody will know what’s in the package unless you tell them!

Our return PO Box is on the parcel, but the company name listed on the package just says Faux Australia.

we refund orders as soon as we can, but sometimes may take up to 14 business days to process through our payment provider. This unfortunately is out of our hands.

Yes, what you see in the ‘Pre-Made’ listings are what you will receive! That EXACT toy is what you are purchasing! Toys in the ‘Customize Me’ listings are made to order. 

First and foremost, we want to stress that this is a handmade craft! We want to bring it to customers attention that there are indeed variations in silicone firmness!! 

When it comes to silicone firmness’s, variations DO HAPPEN! This means that sometimes a soft toy can feel firmer, or a medium toy can feel softer, or so on. These variations are due to several different reasons including:

Differences in units of silicone straight from the manufacturer, Temperature, Humidity, the pigments used or the size/girth of the toy.

Our toys will be labelled with the firmness that we’ve poured the toy in. If we pour a soft toy in 00-50, it will be labelled as soft 00-50! But we want to make customers aware of these variations that can happen in this craft. These differences in firmness are natural with a material such as silicone and should be considered when buying. 

Your toy can be purchased with a storage bag at an added cost. Other suitable storage suggestions are...

• Storage bag (lint free)
• Satin drawstring pouches
• Storage pillows (cotton)
• Cotton socks are also an option

Silicone toys should NOT be stored with Jelly, Rubber, PVC, UR3, RealSkin, SiliSkin etc. Storing silicone with toys made in those materials will likely damage both of your toys. (Please Note: If you have any toys made from these materials we urge you to have a read of our https://fauxphallus.com.au/manufacturing page, in particular the 'Silicone' paragraph as these materials are not body friendly.

Please use a water-based or oil-based lubricant. Silicone based lubes are not recommended for silicone toys.
